2019 St. Jude Marathon
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is a place that provides hope to those who may have lost it due to the sudden diagnosis of cancer. Thanks to its donors, St. Jude can provide for the children and families who might feel that they are drowning in medical bills, travel expenses, or the overall feeling of sadness.
This year’s Memphis St. Jude Marathon Weekend takes place on December 7th, 2019. Our own Caitlin Schuh, Joanne Sigler, and Elizabeth Rook will be running in the 10k race alongside Leukemia survivor and former St. Jude patient, Kendal Dalrymple. They will be raising money for the hospital during their training leading up to race day.
Families at St. Jude never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food. Their sole focus should be on helping their child survive. This is made possible by donors who wish to make a difference in a child’s life.
